This publication grew out of a desire to bring the digital images from a series of photographs I posted on Instagram into a physical format. The photographs were taken at Extreme Barcelona 2026. That post earned a mention in one of Jota Barros’s Instagram stories, where he wrote “Lo de Guillem”, referring to the photo of the scooter jump. That inspired me to create my first fanzine, taking care of the entire process myself: concept, design, photography and text. I added text to give the collection of images greater meaning and depth, as they speak not only about sport itself, but also about life.

Momentum means movement, drive — both physical and vital.

This article is the result of a collaboration with journalist Laia Beltran. She got in touch with me to work together, and we visited Cèlia Brugos at her ceramics workshop and showroom in the village of Montellà to meet her in person, discover her work and see how she works.

Laia wrote the text, and I took the photographs.
