About

Walk, capture, repeat.

Guillem Duñó
Self-portrait

(Barcelona, 1978)

I remember that my parents always had some kind of camera at home, first analogue and later digital. I can still picture the family albums where they kept photographs beneath transparent protective sheets, capturing family celebrations, school activities and summer holidays. I also remember taking pictures of my classmates on school trips with the compact film camera I was given for my First Communion.

But it was not until many years later, around 2014, when I took the Digital Photography course as part of my Multimedia degree, that I truly became interested in photography. A whole new world opened up to me, and I discovered an activity that inspired and excited me. Since then, I have taken photographs on trips, at family events, and of portraits and concerts.

In the summer of 2025, I joined Jota Barros’s Street Photography Club and began to understand and appreciate photography even more. I take courses, read books, watch documentaries, share experiences with other club members and, above all, go out more often to see what the world has to offer.

Creating this website gives me the opportunity, on the one hand, to revisit my archive, look back at what I have done and what I am still doing, reflect on how my approach to photography is changing, and showcase the work that matters most to me. On the other hand, it allows me to open up to the world and share my space, my refuge, my self.
